Initial view when entering the next room. The straight forward path is block by a huge rock (fallen from the ceiling), prompting the player to explore this central room.
One doorway leads to this side-room hinting at something golden in the distance - the immediate path there is collapsed and broken however, prompting the player to find another way.

The two side rooms mirror each other, yet are made thematically and spatially differet with one being ruined and the other being a pristine version of the same room.

Moving further down reveals a glowing magical object across the small pond.
Multiple implied pathways guide the player around the garden.
Brighter foliage is used to guide the player's eye further down a path.
Different areas of the garden were designed to give varying spatial experiences as well. -some more open and exposed and some more closed and sheltered.

Secret of the Desert Temple
Project originally done for the Core "Secret Spaces" jam/contest, but then elaborated on further afterwards. The level is an explorable environment featuring changing themes and spatial constructions throughout different rooms, as well as a "secret" garden which can be accessed only by collecting the two keys found within the depths of the temple.
All assets used are made by the Core team, however a great deal of work in terms of level design, level artistry and kitbashing everything together was put in, in order to make this level come together!
